CLAYHATCHEE, Ala. (AP) — A search crew has found the body of a missing teen from Enterprise in the Choctawhatchee River near a boat ramp in Clayhatchee.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson says the body of 14-year-old Stephen Bush was found early Monday afternoon after the river bottom was disturbed and the body rose to the surface.
Bush had been missing since Saturday, when he and his friends were swimming in the river and he disappeared underwater. His body was found within 100 feet of where he was last seen.
Olson says no foul play is suspected, but the body will be sent to Montgomery for an autopsy.
