MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Alabama state troopers are investigating separate traffic fatalities in Elmore and Calhoun counties.
Trooper said a 39-year-old Titus man died early Thursday in a one-vehicle crash. Investigators said a vehicle driven by Major William Golden ran off Sewell Road at about 1 a.m.
The wreck was discovered at about 8:30 a.m.
Another accident in Calhoun County claimed the life of 69-year-old Jackie Reeves of Piedmont. Troopers said the wreck occurred on County Road 19, approximately 8 miles north of Jacksonville.
Both accidents remain under investigation.
