ABBEVILLE, Ala. (AP) — A Georgia man who led law enforcement officers on a high speed chase in southeast Alabama that left three people hurt faces multiple criminal charges.
Alabama state troopers said 20-year-old Benjamin Daniel Gatlin of Cataula, Ga., was injured when his vehicle crashed into two other cars at the intersection of Ala. Highway 27 and U.S. 431.
Troopers and Henry County sheriff’s deputies said the chase started near Abbeville early Monday just after 2 a.m.
Gatlin, who was also hospitalized, faces several traffic-related offenses. Troopers also believed Gatlin driving a stolen car.
