Alex Taylor rambled through the Ardmore defense Friday night for 220 yards and three touchdowns to lift West Limestone to a 46-24 win over the Tigers.
The statistics were more even than the score might ineidate, with the Wildcats outgainning Ardmore by less than 30 yards. West had 381 yards total offense while Ardmore totaled 354 yards.
Jacob Lewter led the Ardmore effort with 62 yards on 13 carries and three touchdowns.
Tigers quarterback J Tribble completed 15 passes on 26 attempts for a total of 206 yards in the air. One of those completions was a 55-yard touchdown toss to Matt Peoples.
Jay Collins tallied two touchdowns for West Limestone, while Jake Blankenship and Willie Rivera each scored once.
West Limestone travels to East Lawrence for a region matchup next Friday night. Ardmore hosts Brooks next Friday in another region game.
