From Staff Reports
Tray Cosby hasn't had much of a break lately.
As soon as football ended almost two weeks ago, the Tanner High junior hit the hardwood full speed ahead almost immediately. And while it usually takes a few games for most players to adjust, that hasn't been the case for Cosby who recorded 18 points and 13 rebounds in the Rattlers 73-58 win over Elkmont Tuesday night.
"Tray has really come on," Tanner head coach Chris Whitt said of Cosby's play lately.
Greg Maclin added 17 points and five rebounds for the Rattlers. Marquis McDonald contributed with 16 points while Terrance Pendleton had seven points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Cole Glass led Elkmont with 15 points and nine rebounds. Michael Carter had 11 points.
"So far, we've been real balanced" Whitt said. "I think they realize what they have to do and think by January we'll be ready."
The Rattlers will have a 10 day break before traveling to take on Ardmore December 4.

The Tigers notched their first Class 4A, Area 15 win of the season behind the strong play of Kevin Shelton who led the team with 19 points. Matt Teeples added 15 points while Jonathan Shannon chipped in with 13 points.
