The City of Athens hosted its first Relay for Life Team Bass Fishing Tournament Saturday.
The tournament, held at Ingalls Harbor in Decatur, raised $5,445 for the American Cancer Society.
The top finishers were:
• First place, Chris Leopard and Howard Kinch, 20.29 pounds of fish;
• Second place, Zack Waddell and Bruce Lott, 18.17 pounds of fish;
• Third place, Patrick Cutten and Rick Armstrong, 16.15 pounds of fish;
• Fourth place, Will Beutjer and Chris Rose, 15.50 pounds of fish;
• Fifth place, Brian Merriman and Warren Winsett, 14.39 pounds of fish;
• Big fish winner, Eddie Jewell and Shane Jewell, 5.35 pounds.
