The funeral for Ila Ray Craig, 94, of Athens will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Wendell Wiser officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Craig died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at home. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey A. “Bus” Craig; a daughter Peggy Dew Craig; a granddaughter, Wendy Nichole Craig; a grandson, Charles Donald “Chuck” Craig; and one great-grandson, D.J. Coburn.
She is survived by one son, Charles M. Craig of Athens; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Allen B. Craig of Athens, and two sisters, Moretta Johnson and Cassie Hargrave, both of Athens.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Daniel Craig, Christopher Craig, Tonia Craig Matheny, Krystal Craig King and Nikkia Craig Coburn.
