Mary Clayton Eaves, 82 of Ardmore died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at home.
Born Thursday, July 31, 1930, in Athens, she was the daughter of the late John Pullum and the late Minnie Melton Pullum. She was the wife of the late R.B. Eaves.
She was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and was a member of New Life Worship Center in Athens. She loved playing with her grandchildren, yard sales, working in her garden, cooking for her family, and going to church.
Survivors include her sons, Billy Eaves of Decatur, Ricky Eaves of Ardmore, Tenn., and Bobby Eaves of Ardmore; daughters, Peggy Miller and Shelia Eaves, both of Ardmore; sister, Ruby Hardy of Athens; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Donald Clem and Bruce Addison officiating. Burial will be in Sylone Cemetery in Elkmont.
Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
