The graveside service for Charles “Duke” Foster, 55, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunnyhill Cemetery with Kevin Harbin officiating. Visitation is from 6-9 tonight at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Foster died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Charles Foster was born May 29, 1957, in Limestone County. He was a member of Sunnyhill Church of Christ.
Survivors include his sons, Jay Foster and Chad Foster, both of Athens; mother, Betty Jean Pennington and husband Bill of Athens; sisters, Sherry Bridges and Tammy Bean, both of Athens; grandchildren, Morgan Foster and Christopher Stegall; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Chad Foster, Jay Foster, Jordan Rutherford, Mike Green, Kent Bridges, Kenny Green, Ricky Green and Ronnie Green. Honorary pallbearers are Skyler Rutherford, Christopher Stegall, Morgan Foster, Daniel Bates and Drew Bates.
