Pamela Karen McAbee Faust, 51, of Pelham passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at home.
Mrs. Faust was born April 8, 1961, in Decatur to Bobby and Betty McAbee. She attended Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas. She also attended and was a cheerleader at Morgan County High School. Mrs. Faust graduated from Central Texas College and Calhoun Community College. She was in the real estate business for several years.
Mrs. Faust was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Lee Ora McAbee and Lucy Hicks; uncles, Bill and Mickey McAbee; and aunt, Peggy Yeager.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Faust; daughter, Kara McAbee; and her parents Bobby and Betty McAbee. She is also survived by her aunts, Glenda Knighten, Deb Ledlow and husband Wayne, and Pat Robertson and husband Mike; uncle, Jack McAbee; best friend, Oni; and her grand puppy, Precious.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle. Visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
