Irene L. Daniel, 81, of Athens, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Daniel was born Feb. 12, 1931, in Limestone County to Lyfus Locke and Lou Andrews Locke.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Old Salem Cemetery with Mike Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, R.M. Daniel; daughter, Debra Fleming and husband Travis; son, Terry Daniel and wife Jeri Lynn; brother, Ronnie Locke; sisters, Carol Lock, Edna Doak and Jimmie Gayle Coggin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
