Memorial service for David Copas Bracy Hamilton, 42, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hamilton died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital.
He was born Sept. 24, 1970, in Morgan County. He was a retired painter and a member of Tanner United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Hamilton, and his father, Jerry Hamilton.
Survivors include a daughter, Danielle Hamilton of Athens; a son, Bailey Hamilton of Athens; a brother, Jason Hamilton of Florence; his grandparents David and Adell Newton of Athens; aunts, uncles and one nephew.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
