Thomas Henry Knox, 62 of Elkmont died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Born Tuesday, July 11, 1950, in Devine, Texas, he was the son of the late John Henry Knox and the late Elsie Oliver Knox. He had lived most of his life in the Elkmont area and enjoyed hunting and guitar playing. He loved being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Karl Knox.
Survivors include his wife, Donna W. Knox of Elkmont; sisters, Katherine Knox King of Decatur and Jane Knox Engelbert of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; two nieces; and a nephew.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the funeral home.
