The private viewing, service and funeral of Wilber Gene Darnell, 81, were under the direction of Adams Brown Funeral Home in Albertville with Bill Ford of Parkway Presbyterian Church of Cummings, Ga., officiating. Burial was in Marshall Memory Gardens in Albertville.
Survivors include daughter Patty Staton of Decatur and grandchildren, Emily and Julie Staton.
Mr. Darnell died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at home.
