Vickie Strasser

— A memorial service for Vickie L. Strasser, 52, of Athens will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Buddy Brymer officiating.

Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at home.

She was born Feb. 22, 1958, in Limestone County, to Charles and Hazel Perry Vibbert.

Survivors include one daughter, Alisha Johnson and husband Brant of Rogersville; one son, Andrew Strasser of Athens; former husband, Scott Strasser of Athens; mother, Hazel Vibbert of Athens; one granddaughter, Emma Kate Johnson of Rogersville; four brothers, Gary Vibbert, Kevin Vibbert, Terry Vibbert and Tim Vibbert, all of Athens; two sisters, Penny Frederick of Knoxville, Tenn., and Gwen Chandler of Athens.
