The funeral for the Rev. Sammy Brister, 66, of Ardmore will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, Tenn., with William Suddarth and Billy Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, Miss.
Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. today at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. Brister died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at home.
