Daniel Clayton Hardy, 81, of Elkmont passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at home. Mr. Hardy was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Limestone County to Frank Hardy and Gladys Hargrove Hardy. He was the owner of The Frontier Package Store.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Antioch Cemetery with Ladon Emerson officiating. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Hardy; and parents, Frank and Gladys Hardy.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette Hardy of Elkmont; two sons, Daniel Hardy and Randy Hardy; three daughters, Susie Hardy Campbell, Lori Townsend and Donna Hardy; sisters, Linda Mack and husband Ken, and Jan Hardy; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
