The funeral for Randall Dale Davis, 55, of Athens will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery with Jerry Smith officiating.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at home.
Randall Davis was born Oct. 22, 1956, in Giles County, Tenn., to Carols Eugene Davis and Marveline Slaton Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Salem Springs Baptist Church. His hobbies were playing with his grandchildren, Sudoku, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Marbut Davis; son, Christopher Dale Davis and wife Ashley; daughter, Christy Lynn Townsend and husband Patrick; brother, Ronnie Davis and wife Patsy; sister, Pam Watson and husband Roger; grandchildren, Lydia Claire Townsend, Parker Elam Davis and Ariella Joy Townsend; mother, Marveline Slaton Davis.
Pallbearers are Christopher Davis, Patrick Townsend, Jon Owen, Nelson Marbut, Heath Davis and Joshua Watson. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Durham and Jerry Johnson.
