Amy McWilliams

— Amy Beth McWilliams, 55, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at her home.

Ms. McWilliams was born Feb. 4, 1957. in Pulaski, Tenn., to Maxie Loggins and Elizabeth Griffin Loggins.

The funeral for Ms. McWilliams was at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.  Visitation was from 2-4 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery in Prospect, Tenn.  Limestone Chapel Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Ms. McWilliams was a member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church where she was active on the Medical Mission Team. She was a nurse at Huntsville Hospital and Dunagan, Yates & Alison Plastic Surgery.

She is survived by her sons, Lynn Mitchell and wife Teresia of Athens, and Shane Mitchell and wife Leslie of Athens; grandchildren, Joshua, David, Lydia, Anna Hope, Sarah, Cade and Hallie Mitchell; brothers, John Wesley Griffin, Wyatt Griffin and Paul Loggins, all of Athens; sisters, Nancy Rich of Ardmore and Maxine Knoll of Obion, Tenn.

Pallbearers were Tom Pieplow, John Romine, Carlos Sutton, Brian Passe, Tommy Loggins and Bill Blackmon.
