The funeral for Bruce Wayne Johns, 63, of Athens will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home with Dwight Rayburn officiating. Burial will be in New Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Johns died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at home.
Bruce Johns was born July 3, 1949, in Limestone County. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Johns was a member of New Oakland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Landon Johns of Athens; mother, Dorothy Johns of Rogersville; brothers, Scotty Johns, Randy Johns and Tony Johns, all of Rogersville; sister, Gail Ferrell of Rogersville; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be members of New Oakland Baptist Church.
