— The funeral for Ruby Smith Hobbs, 82, of Athens will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Madison Street Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Ruby Hobbs died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at home.

Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is assisting.
