The funeral for Nellie Lorene Hasting, 85, of Athens, will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Rick Craft officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until time of service.
Ms. Hasting died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her residence.
She was born April 30, 1927, in Limestone County to George and Eula Mae Wray. She was a member of The First Church in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Hasting.
She is survived by her husband, Elvin “Pete” Hasting of Athens; son, Rickey Dean Hasting of Athens; brother, Billy Wayne Wray of Elkmont; sisters, Reba Lee Wray Gibson of Elkmont, Mable Wray King of Athens and Betty Jo Wray Brooks of Athens; grandchildren, Tina Hasting, Sonya James and Bradley Hasting; and five great-grandchldren.
