The funeral for Ella Virginia Miller, 85, of Athens will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with David Cox and Kasey Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miller died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Ella Miller was born June 17, 1927, in Sylacauga. She was a member of Market Street Church of Christ in Athens. Mrs. Miller retired from Fox Army Hospital at Redstone Arsenal. She was an election poll worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Miller.
Survivors include her son, Andy Miller of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughters, Caroline Hobbs of Decatur and Jenelle Duncan of Athens; grandchildren, Dusty Miller of Atlanta, Whitney Wakefield of Decatur and Reagan Duncan of Athens; sister, Francis Murphree of Alexander City; nieces and nephews.
