The funeral for Deborah Jewel Hughes, 54, of Pulaski, Tenn., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with Mike Callahan and Wayne Bowden officiating. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hughes died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital.
Deborah Hughes was born Jan. 9, 1958, in Morgan County. She was a retired certified nursing assistant. Mrs. Hughes was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Hughes of Pulaski; sons, Harold Jason Hughes and Gilbert Clayton Hughes, both of Athens, and Levi Matthew Hughes of Pulaski; daughters, Kimberly Ann Vargas of Pulaski, Laura Michelle Hughes of Bullock, N.C., and Wendy Ann Barger of Acworth, Ga.; grandchildren, Catelyn Alexis Callahan, James Delynn Higgins, Joseph Miguel Vargas, Indica Rosa Vargas, Bristol Madison Bowen and Haley Hughes; brother, Rickey Hunt of Minor Hill, Tenn.; sister, Freddie Callahan of Decatur; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers are David Cofield, Levi Hughes, Jason Hughes, Clay Hughes, Jerry Collins and Jeff Collins.
