The funeral for Samuel “Cigar Sam” Brandon Dement Jr., 77, of Athens, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Athens City Cemetery with Pat Lawrence officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Dement died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Athens Convalescent and Rehab Center.
