Lorene Hodges, 94, of Pulaski, Tenn., died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.
Born Friday, Oct. 4, 1918, in Elkmont, she was the daughter of the late James Brown and the late Etsie Wallace Brown.
Mrs. Hodges lived in the Ardmore area all of her life. She was a member of the Pettusville Church of Christ Church.
She enjoyed socializing with friends, traveling and working. She worked in the Limestone County Court Clerks office for 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Price Scoggins and William Hodges; sisters, Lela Hargrove and Mattie Lou Brown; and brothers, Harold Whitt and Kenneth Whitt.
Survivors include a brother, Jesse Alvin Brown of Huntsville; and sister, Betty Jean Wells of Ethridge, Tenn.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Ronnie Holt and David Harwell officiating. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery in Pettusville.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
