The funeral for Wilma Barnett Kellum Higgs, 84, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home with Ricky Cantrell, Leon McCafferty and Katrina Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-9 tonight, Dec. 22, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Higgs died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Athens Rehabilitation & SeniorCare.
Wilma Higgs was born July 20, 1928 in Giles County, Tenn. She retired from Sweet Sue Kitchen and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willima E. Kellum; sons, Donald Ray Kellum and Bobby Joe Kellum; and daughters, Carlette Kellum Sherrill, Linda Joyce Kellum and Wilma Jean Kellum.
Survivors include sons, Dean Kellum and wife Glenda, Jerry Kellum and wife Cathy, all of Athens, and Ricky Kellum and wife Tina of Killen; daughter-in-law, Connie Kellum of Toney; sisters, Roberta Kellum of St. Joe, Tenn., and Verna Adams of Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
