The funeral for O.C. McGee, 86, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with Doug McCurry officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. McGee died Monday, May 21, 2012, at home.
O.C. McGee was born April 6, 1926, in Lawrence County, Tenn. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy. Mr. McGee was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Athens.
Survivors include his sons, Elvie McGee of Athens and Ollie McGee of Brentwood, Tenn.; daughters, Patsy Dollar of Madison, Brenda Phillips of Huntsville and Betty Murphy of Athens; 11 grandchildren, Frankie Williams, Archie Williams, Coy McGee, Michael McGee, Timothy McGee, Tyler McGee, Connor McGee, Linda Bullington, Jody Murphy, April McGee, Lindsey Sharp and Jamie Phillips; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew McGee of Greenbrier, Tenn.; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Archie Williams, Tyler McGee, Connor McGee, Lakota Lopez, Michael McGee, Timothy McGee, Josh Bullington and Hunter Williams.
