The funeral for Anne McCue, 82, of Athens will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McConnell Funeral Home with the Rev. Charley Alookaran officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with the immediate family.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. McCue passed away Monday Dec. 10, 2012, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. McCue was born April 16, 1930, in Fairfield to Hoyt Bedingfield and Mildred Reed Bedingfield. She was a biologist by training and a homemaker for more than 50 years, supporting her husband Pat in his medical practice. She was devoted to family, an active church member, golfer, bowler and ballroom dancer.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Patrick McCue.
Survivors include one son, Michael McCue and wife Pam; one brother, Hoyt Bedingfield and wife Nancy; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.
