JD Billions, 88, of Ardmore passed away on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at home.
Born Friday, April 25, 1924, in Hazel Green, he was the son of the late Lon Billions and the late Myrtle Gainer Billions. He was preceded in death by seven sisters; two brothers; and great-grandson, Cody Bryant League.
Mr. Billions was a member of Mable Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Genesco and Coca-Cola.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Emma Ary Billions of Ardmore; sons, Jackie Billions and wife Judy of, Ardmore, Jerry Eugene Billions and wife Julie of Harvest, Tony Billions and wife Becky of Fayetteville, Tenn.; daughters, Nancy (Perry) Stevenson and husband Perry of Ardmore, Kathy Underwood and husband Billy of Athens, Kay Curry and husband Perry of Ardmore; brother, L.B. Billions; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. today at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tony Billions, Dr. Michael Clark and Jerry Hovis officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Mable Hill Building Fund or Southern Care Hospice.
