The funeral for Margaret Polly Davis, 86, will be at 2 p.m. today at Oxford Cemetery in Minor Hill, Tenn., with David Cox officiating.
Mrs. Davis passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at River City Care in Decatur.
Visitation will be from from noon until time of service at Spry Funeral Home Chapel. She was born July 7, 1926, in Giles County, Tenn. She was a homemaker and member of the Market Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by husbands, David E. Forsyth and Tony Davis; daughter, Barbara Forsyth; stepson, Ken Davis; sister, Willie Lou Word; and brothers, David Townsend and Booker Townsend.
Survivors include her son, Richard Forsyth and wife Angie of Lester; brother, Bobby Joe Townsend of Minor Hill, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Judy Jackson of Athens; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
