Lila Lee Zieger, 78, of Athens passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013. She was born Dec. 26, 1934, in Coulterville, Ill., to Aaron Ethington and Mossaline Olive Hanley Ethington.
Survivors include her son, Roy Howard Zieger of Jerseyville, Ill.; daughter, Katherine Yvonne Zieger of Athens and daughters, Vickie Cummings, Deborah Hayes, Linda Mulwee, Karen Brakeville, Roberta Rickerson, Stell Edan, Carlene King and Jane Gay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Roy Howard Zieger.
Visitation will be at Elias-Smith Funeral Home and cemetery in Alton, Ill., and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
