The funeral for Ruby Davis of Athens was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at McConnell Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Arvid McGuire officiating.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Valley View Health Rehab.
She was born to Raymond Harrison and Lydia Browning Harrison. A homemaker, she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gentry Davis; and two brothers, Ray Harrison and Roy Harrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne D. Borden and husband Steve of Athens; two granddaughters, Ashley Borden Zimnowski and husband Leonard of Madison, and Kelly Borden of Harvest; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Zimnowski and Ila Zimnowski, both of Madison.
Pallbearers will be Steve Borden, Leonard Zimnowski, Eric Owens, Jeff Borden, Keith King and Alex King.
Edward Borden will be honorary pallbearer.
