The funeral for Lottie McClure Pepper, 94, of Athens will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Home with Jimmy Clark officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pepper passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at home.
Lottie Pepper was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Lauderdale County to Irvin Yancy McClure and Myrtle Lee Billingsley McClure.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, David L. Pepper; great-granddaughter Blakely Perrien; and son-in-law, Gene Harvel Sims.
Survivors include her four daughters, Nancy McCorkle, Ann Sims, Eunice Boyd and husband Marty, Janey Sanderson and husband Roy; one brother, James Y. McClure; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jason Sims, Tim Carter, David E. Clem, Fred Pepper, Ed Hart, Lee Hilbert, Roy Sanderson and Jeff Woods.
