The funeral for Brenda Kay Tyler, 59, of Athens will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home with Brian Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tyler died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at home.
Brenda Tyler was born June 26, 1953, in Limestone County. She was a member of First Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Dillon of Athens; sons, Mark Dillon and Bill Poteete, both of Athens; brothers, Billy Gene Russ of Oklahoma, Shuford Russ of Florida, Johnny Dalton Russ and Danny Russ, both of Athens; sisters, Patsy Heatherly of Pulaski, Tenn., Beatrice Clemons, Ann Clemons and Connie Russ, all of Athens; two grandchildren; and 17 step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Alan Pugh, James Poteete, Chuck Pepper, Matt Kyle, Kim Pugh and R.L. Ussery.
