Beth Childers

— Elizabeth Diane Wales Childers, 42, of Anderson passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Faith Church in Florence. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Faith Church with Wendell White officiating. Interment will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Beth attended New Hope Baptist Church and was a graduate of Athens High School. She was an active member of the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department. After much study and training, Beth was one test away from achieving her dream of becoming an EMT.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Raymond Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, David Scott Childers; parents, Jerry and Gail Wales; children, Shellie Wise, Kellie Wise Tucker and husband Michael, Heather Wise, Amanda Childers, Brandon Childers and Joey Walker; sister, Cindy Wales; grandparents, Inez Wales and Doris Anderson; grandsons, Landon Davis and Cayden Wise; and granddaughter, Hannah Davis.

Memorials may be made to Beth Childers Fund at any Bank Independent Branch or New Hope Baptist Church, 4571 County Road 77, Rogersville, AL 35652.
