Mark Angelo LaBathe, 53, of Huntsville passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Crestwood Hospital. He was born May 4, 1959, in Huntsville, to Angelo and Emily Turner LaBathe. He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo “Al” LaBathe.
Survivors include his mother Emily LaBathe Huber and stepfather Carl C. Huber of Huntsville; son, Blake Turner LaBathe and his mother Elissa Green of Huntsville; sister, Emily Fran LaBathe of Towson, Md.; brother, Paul Wellons LaBathe of Athens; nephews, Michael Anthony LaBathe of Elkmont, Matthew Alan LaBathe and Mark Andrew LaBathe, both of Athens.
Mark never met a stranger and will be missed by many. He worked for many years in construction. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads, playing billiards and watching a good slapstick comedy. Mark also had a love of nature, having a pet dog and a reptile or two.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Huntsville Memory Gardens on U.S. 72 West with the Rev. Frederick David Clemens, M.Div., officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
