A Huntsville woman was killed early Friday morning in a one-car crash on Alabama 53 North in Ardmore.
State troopers said Kathryn Huston Adams, 56, died after her 2011 Toyota Prius left the road near mile marker 339, struck a culvert and burst into flames.
When rescue crews arrived at the site, her car was fully engulfed in flames. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, according to a press release.
