ATHENS —
An Athens man has been charged with second-degree rape for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
Athens Police Investigator Patrick Minor arrested Keane Lamar Robinson, 18, of 24676 McClung Lane, on the charge Wednesday, records show.
The Police Department had received a complaint In the first part of November about Robinson having a sexual relationship with the girl, Police Chief Floyd Johnson said.
After completing an investigation, Minor charged Robinson.
The accused was booked at the Police Department and transferred to the Limestone County Jail, where he was released after posting bail of $15,000 on the felony charge.
