A winter weather advisory remains in effect for Limestone County until 6 p.m. this evening.
The National Weather Service said rain would gradually change over to sleet and snow this morning and continue into the afternoon. Accumulations could reach 1 to 2 inches.
Snow may accumulate on road surfaces still wet from heavy rains and produce slick spots on roads, bridges and overpasses.
