County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• David Spencer Durham, 43, of 19791 U.S. 72 West, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Joshua Morningstar McClain, 18, of 3232 Castlecreek Drive S.W., Huntsville, third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief

• Donald Ray Taylor II, 36, of 18363 Upland Trail, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Chadwick Ladon Turner, 30, of 11371 Cowford Road, probation revocation on an original charge of second-degree possession of a forged instrument

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents and thefts Thursday:

• ATHENS – Two Whirlpool front-load washers valued at $1,800; one Whirlpool dryer valued at $800; two chrome bars from a Dodge 1500 valued at $400; one Whirlpool refrigerator valued at $1,800; and copper wiring of unknown value stolen Tuesday from the 21000 block of Edgewood Road

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Ryan Chandon Eason, 29, of 3908 Troy Sawsey Blvd., Huntsville, domestic violence

• Shelley Nicole Gillespie, 32, of 904 Beech St., Athens, probation violation on an original charge of driving under the influence of alcohol

• Alissa Denise Smith, 27, 509 Elkton St., Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Timothy Michael Tucker, 31, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Lot 41, Athens, third-degree theft

• Briana Lynn Clements, 18, of 24256 Malone Estates, Athens, third-degree theft

• Christy Dawn Clements, 39, of 24256 Malone Estates, Athens, third-degree theft

• Michael David Crotti, 26, of 118 Sunny Terrace, Apt. D, Youngwood, Pa., illegal possession of drug paraphernalia

• Joseph Lee Moore, 38, of 1414 12th St., Athens, arrested for Hale County Sheriff’s Department

• Mark Anthony Williams, 22, 19775 Paris Lane, Athens, sentenced from court

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Pair of gloves valued at $3 stolen from 1011 U.S. 72 East on Wednesday

• Alabama dealer plate D28776 valued at $100 lost between Dec. 12, 2012, and Wednesday on U.S. 72 East

• Taylor Made golf towel valued at $12.97; Calloway golf towel valued at $19.97, and miscellaneous items valued at $79.68 stolen from 1011 U.S. 72 East on Wednesday

• One pair boots valued at $32.99; bracelet valued at $9.99; sweater valued at $27.99; sweater valued at $27.99; sweater valued at $32.99; knit top valued at $21.99; knit top valued at $24.99; sweater valued at $32.98; coat valued at $32.98; and dress valued at $32.98 stolen between Nov. 22 and Nov. 26, 2012, from 1001 U.S. 72 East, Suite 5

• Key to apartment stolen Wednesday from the 700 block of 5th St.
