BREAKING: Seibert beats Crawford in District 1 council runoff

Chris Seibert beat Danny Crawford Tuesday night in the municipal election runoff for the District 1 City Council seat.

Seibert had 314 votes to Crawford’s 252.

Seibert will join District 2 Councilman Harold Wales, District 3 Councilman Jimmy Gill, District 4 councilman-elect Joseph Cannon and District 5 councilman-elect Wayne Harper on the City Council.

The new council, along with Mayor Ronnie Marks, will be sworn in on Nov. 5.
