Keeping the bees

— Limestone County Beekeepers Association received a grant from the Alabama Mountains, Rivers and Valleys district of the RC&D Council. The Limestone County delegation of officials, commissioners, representatives and senators support the RC&D Council and its efforts to help grass roots associations in Limestone County. From left are, Doug Raney, vice-president, LCBA; Lionel Evans, executive director, LCBA; state Sen. Tom Butler, D-Madison; Marylou Beck, secretary-treasurer, LCBA; District 2 Commissioner Gerald Barksdale; County Commission Chairman David Seibert; District 1 Commissioner Gary Daly; District 4 Commissioner Bill Daws, and District 3 Commissioner Bill Latimer.
