ATV dispute leads to gun drawn

— An East Limestone man, fed up with the noise of four-wheelers near his home, has been charged with reckless endangerment, menacing and third degree criminal mischief after he allegedly used a shotgun Sunday to shoot out two tires of an all-terrain vehicle.

Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely said the alleged shooter, identified as 67-year-old Jamie Mintz, did not own the property off Doe Run near Capshaw Road, but was a neighbor who was upset with the noise and the dust kicked up by the ATVs.
