The Limestone County Tornado Memorial will have its official dedication at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery, U.S. 72 near the WAFF 48 radar tower.
The Tornado Remembrance and Awareness Committee honors all who assisted in the wake of the April 27, 2011, tornadoes and memorializes those who died.
All Limestone County and Athens law enforcement officers, emergency responders, utility crews and volunteer agencies are invited to the dedication as well as the general public.
