The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information about two burglaries that occurred early Wednesday at two county stores, an official said.
Someone broke into Clements Mini Mart at 7697 U.S. 72 West, stole a cash register and cigarettes, and damaged the front door, said Limestone Sheriff’s Lt. Brad Curnutt. Total loss was estimated at $630, Curnutt said.
Someone also broke into S&Z; Supermarket and Services Station at 16231 Shaw Road, just off U.S. 72 West, early Wednesday and damaged the front door, Curnutt said. The owners have not yet determined if anything is missing, he said.
Both burglaries occurred about 3:45 a.m.
The burglar broke the glass in the front doors to enter, Curnutt said.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at (256) 232-0111.
