County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Rosita Lee Allison, 48, of 3808 Penny St., Huntsville, negotiating a worthless instrument
• Doyle Alan Cosby, 41, of 18502 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, bonds revoked on previous charges of attempting to elude, first-degree criminal trespassing and obstructing justice by giving false identification
• Matthew Dewayne Dendy, 21, of 1935 County Road 95, Rogersville, violating terms of probation on previous convictions on two counts of second-degree theft and one count of first-degree theft
• Monica Lynn Eskridge, 36, of 21607 David Drive, Elkmont, third-degree assault
• Farandus Tyrone Hurley, 20, of 1302 Fourth St. N.W., Decatur, third-degree burglary and bond revoked on previous charge of third-degree burglary
• Jimmy Ray Jones Jr., 35, of 15586 Shaw Road, Lot 16, Athens, violating terms of probation on negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Kevin Wade McCown, 40, of 404 Henry Drive, Athens, first-degree theft by deception
• Jason Ray Rose, 35, of 775 Bluff Drive, Rogersville, violating terms of probation on conviction for third-degree burglary
• James Madison Rowe, 20, of 15586 Shaw Road, Lot 14, Athens, two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument
• Pamela Renee Scott, 32, of 27685 Thatch Road, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs and no insurance
• Marvin Lee Shoulders, 44, of 1211 Montreat Drive, Athens, first-degree theft (Limestone County Corrections Program)
• Maegan Geordan Snider, 24, of 710 S. Clinton St., Apt. 308, Athens, violating terms of probation on previous charge of second-degree criminal mischief
• Joey Wade Trousdale, 28, of 25442 Craft Road, Athens, bond revoked on four previous counts of breaking into and entering a vehicle
• Marvin Christopher Tucker, 36, of 21607 David Drive, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (assault)
• Glenn David Williams Jr., 35, of 15586 Shaw Road, Lot 23, Athens, failure to pay child support
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Speaker box with 12-inch speakers valued at $1,500 and Pioneer brand 750-watt amplifier valued at $350 stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a vehicle in 26000 block Beatline Road.
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Assorted Craftsmen brand toolbox and tools, Craftsmen red tool chest and Craftsmen tools engraved with initials H.S., total value $1,900, stolen Wednesday from 1452 Freeman Ave., Unit 21
• Tackle box with lures, toolbox with assorted Craftsmen tools, antique well bucket, and boombox with CD player, total value $525, stolen during burglary Wednesday at 1452 Freeman Ave., bin no. 12
• Brick pillar valued at $100 was stolen Wednesday from 401 W. Market St.
• $20 was stolen Wednesday from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Thursday.
