Come and enjoy the eight beautiful homes this year. Reception is from 3-6 p.m. at Elkmont Methodist Church annex building. Tickets are $5 from any band member or booster.
Jeff Whitlow & The Old Barn Band Country Christmas and Gospel Show

Pearl Harbor remembrance
Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.
A Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony will be held at the Athens Senior Center. Gil Crutchfield of Tanner, who was a soldier in the 25th Division “Wolfhounds,” was near Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941, when he heard loud explosions and saw black clouds rising over the harbor. He will be the guest of honor in a play titled: “We Interrupt This Program ... Pearl Harbor Remembered.” Space is limited. Call (256) 771-7578.
Ardmore Christmas Tour of Homes

Athens State Community Band Christmas Concert

The Community Chorus will once again join the Community Band, under the direction of Dan Havely, in McCandless Hall on the Athens State University campus to provide vocals to some of the holiday favorites. A reception, hosted by the Alumni Association, will be held following the Sunday afternoon performance in the parlor of Founders Hall. Seating is limited. “NewSong” Christian band at Clements Baptist Church

“NewSong” is slated to bring “A Very Merry Christmas Tour” to Athens along with guests Big Daddy Weave and special guest Fervent/Reprise and singer/songwriter Francesca Battistelli. General admission tickets are $10 and Gold Circle tickets, which include a backstage pass, are $20. Children ages 8 and under admitted free.
