An Athens man has been accused of stealing a car, a flat-screen television, a computer monitor and jewelry from a Limestone County home, an official said.
King Soloman Phornore, 20, of 15846 Browns Ferry Road was arrested Monday and charged with third-degree burglary in connection with the recent burglary of a home in the 15000 block of Browns Ferry Road, said Limestone County Sheriff’s Chief Investigator Stanley McNatt.
He is accused of stealing a 1997 Ford Aspire, a 42-inch flat-screen television, a computer monitor and jewelry, total value $3,055, McNatt said. The burglary occurred between Nov. 8 and Sunday. The car was found abandoned and wrecked on Nov. 9, while the owners were on vacation, he said.
Phornore was being held in the Limestone County Jail in lieu of posting a $2,500 bond.
