County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Carlos Aparicio, 30, of 14860 Chris Way, Lot 13, Athens, public intoxication

• Calvin Dewayne Bolding, 33, of 331 Jones St., Florence, failure to pay child support

• Marvin Edward Bridges, 62, of 25104 Kingston Drive, Athens, DUI and running a stop sign

• Troy Jackson Crumbley, 34, of 11740 Neely Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and improper lane use

• Efren Diaz-Sanchez, 21, of 262 Bo Howard Road, Toney, public intoxication

• Rose Arrojo Fisher, 46, of 20161 Easter Ferry Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Donna Michelle Hargrove, 39, of 27238 Salem Minor Hill Road, Lester, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and third-degree theft

• Lateresa Dianne Hobbs, 24, of 1113 South Hine St., Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• David Ortiz, 35, of 20219 Wallace Lane, Athens, public intoxication

• Matthew Jonah Sims, 40, of 251 County Road 31, Cullman, violated probation on conviction for negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Joel McAlister Smith, 25, of 38 Sommerville Ave., Moulton, violated probation on conviction for third-degree receiving stolen property

• Leonel Vega, 22, of 14860 Chris Way, Lot 15, Athens, public intoxication

• Kerry Trent Green, 46, of 25157 Copeland Road, Athens, DUI

• Ezekiel Alisandro Pinales Jr., 27, of 14473 Bledsoe Road, Lot 7, Athens, public intoxication

• John Coleman Pipkin, 27, of 14448 Bledsoe Road, Apt. F-12, Athens, second-degree theft, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, and fraudulent use of a credit card

• William Lopez Vasquez, 21, of 14473 Bledsoe Road, Lot 6, Athens, DUI





County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Chocolate lab puppy valued at $4,000 taken during a theft Nov. 16 in the 9000 block of Ripley Road

• Canon camera valued at $300 taken between Friday and Saturday during the breaking and entering of a vehicle in the 17000 block of Jamison Drive.

• Purse valued at $60 taken Sunday during the breaking and entering of a vehicle in the 14000 block of Hunter Road.

• Purse, wallet, two credit cards, and two debit cards, $90 total value, taken Sunday during the breaking and entering of a vehicle in the 14000 block of Fox Hollow Road.

• Jewelry, 42-inch flat screen TV, flat panel computer monitor and 1997 two-door Ford Aspire, total value $3,055, taken between Nov. 8 and Sunday in the 15000 block of Browns Ferry Road. The automobile was recovered on Nov. 9, while the owners were on vacation, but in a wrecked and abandoned condition, said Chief Investigator Stanley McNatt of the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department.



City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Amanda Dale Holt, 29, of 501 Fifth Ave., Athens, theft of property (shoplifting)

• Vincent Edward Caldwell, 46, of 701 Westview Ave., Athens, disorderly conduct

• Luis Antonio Brito, 22, of 14937 Christ Way, Athens, DUI and giving false name to a law-enforcement officer

• Wade Deion Trousdale, 31, of 202 Maple St., Athens, DUI

• Bobby Joe Mason, 50, of Budget Inn, Room 117, Athens, DUI, and driving while revoked

• David Foster Hadden, 55, of 605 U.S. 31, Room 233, Athens, public intoxication

• Leroy Harris, 76, of 320 W. Forrest St., Athens, theft of property

• Zachary Wynton Johnson, 22, of 804 S. Henry Drive, Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana





City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Two boxes of toaster strudels, valued at $5.36, taken in a shoplifting theft Friday at 1301 N. Jefferson St.

• Unknown amount of U.S. currency taken in a theft of property Friday at 403 W. Market St.

• Wooden interior doorframe valued at $25 damaged during criminal mischief Saturday at 18508 N. Jefferson St.

• Pontiac G6 valued at $20,000 stolen out of jurisdiction of a vehicle recovery Saturday from 1001 U.S. 72 East, Suite 1

• Master brand pad lock valued at $15 damaged during criminal mischief at a business Saturday at 1150 U.S. 31 South

• Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD extended cab pickup truck valued at $17,000 and a Dodge Ram truck valued at $10,000 taken in a theft of property Friday at 17486 U.S. 72 West

• Unknown amount of U.S. currency taken during a theft of property Thursday at 1007 U.S. 72 East

• Two country ham end slices valued at $9.20 taken in a theft of property Sunday at 608 S. Jefferson St.

• Rear and front windshields of a Dodge Intrepid with a total value of $600 damaged during criminal mischief Sunday at 1100 N. Hine St.

• Draft kit, briefcase and calculator, total value $510, taken Thursday during the unlawful breaking and entering of a Jeep Grand Cherokee at 106 Alice Lane



Hospital report

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported three admissions and one discharge Monday.

Admissions: Edmond Gilbert and David Welsh, both of Athens; Celesta Washington of Hanceville

Discharged: Cherrie McFarland of Harvest
